Timeless Remodel on Saquatucket Bluffs | Harwich Port

Through a phased renovation, we significantly upgraded this beautiful Harwich Port home – inside and out. The project included revamping the kitchen and main living areas, modernizing the exterior, and rejuvenating the landscape. The house now boasts a classic Cape Cod style with a white exterior, cedar shingles, and navy blue shutters. In the kitchen, the client selected custom cabinetry with contrasting finishes, adding a touch of sophistication to the space. This home earned the 2021 Gold BRICC Award from the Home Builders and Remodelers Association of Cape Cod for Excellence in Remodeling.

Classic Ranch | East Dennis

Our team completely transformed a 1960s ranch in East Dennis. The client wanted to maintain the sentimental character of their childhood summer home while creating more functional living space. Our design solution included an expanded family room with raised ceilings and adding space to the primary bedroom. This makeover resulted in a modernized house featuring an enhanced floor plan that preserves the home’s classic charm.

Classic Cape Reimagined

McPhee Associates and Patrick Ahearn Architect teamed up for a full home remodel. We added an extension to a traditional 1950s Cape Cod house overlooking Little Pleasant Bay. The goal was to transform it into a family summer home with a new garage and in-law living space. Outside, the new addition blends beautifully with the main house—front and back—with an intentionally classic and historic look.

Inside, you’ll find a bright and airy space: White walls, a mix of horizontal shiplap and v-groove ceilings, and dark grey accent walls for contrast. Wide-plank light oak flooring is found throughout the home, while ceiling beams add a cozy touch to the kitchen.
