Jon Bird joined McPhee Associates in the spring of 2025 as a Field Supervisor and Project Manager, bringing almost 30 years of hands-on building experience to the team. A second-generation carpenter, Jon learned the trade from his father and has worked across nearly every facet of residential construction—from concrete foundations to finish carpentry, with a specialty in high-end interior trim and post-and-beam work. His background also includes roles as a residential and commercial project manager, giving him a well-rounded perspective on construction planning and execution.
At McPhee, Jon manages scheduling, coordinates subcontractors, documents progress, and serves as a key point of contact for clients throughout the building process. His approach reflects a deep respect for craftsmanship and a commitment to integrity—values passed down through his family.
Outside of work, Jon enjoys hiking, biking, and spending time outdoors with his sons. He also enjoys sea-glass hunting, fishing, classic wooden boats, antique cars, and a good book.
